Newly cloned, our lovable anti-hero braves the turbulent waters of fatherhood, believing land must somewhere be ho should he flounder with intention. The journey — divided, for the sake of digestion, into three movements —  is littered with odd time signatures, unconventional instrumentation, and genre transmogrification. 

Realizing that, in fact, there was never a mirror to polish, a misplaced monk finds rest upon his laurels and croons. From folktronica to country to PBR&B, the band applies their evolving sonic palette to real and imagined narratives that only occasionally mistake finger for moon.

After three years interned in quasi-idyllic Vermont, a wandering wonderer returns to Chicago to find that it is good to be home (even when it is not). A melting pot of chamber pop, EDM-isms, and whatever else the mental(ly ill) pantry provided in 2024 — for better or worse. 

Finding himself absent of fables, parables, and allegories to tell, a sleepy mesanthrope returns to the indescribably opaque. Oscillating between field recordings and chord progressions, these six tracks seek to spare the cat and point the Way. 

After definitively decrying the use of the human voice, a contrarian contradicts himself yet again, returning to the power and limits of language to tell the story of a dying friendship that ultimately  proves immortal.
